About Cowboy Bebop
Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine, Ed and Ein chase bounties across the solar system in 26 self-contained sessions that build toward a fixed ending. Sunrise aired the full run on WOWOW from October 1998 to April 1999, directed by Shinichiro Watanabe with music by Yoko Kanno.
The 2001 film Knockin' on Heaven's Door is a standalone Mars bounty story set between episodes 22 and 23. Watch the series straight through and slot the film in at that point. Release order gives the same result.

TV Tokyo showed only part of the series from April to June 1998 before the complete WOWOW run later that year. The 2021 live-action Netflix series is a separate adaptation and is not part of this list. No sequel has been announced; the story is complete.
