About KonoSuba
Kazuma dies an embarrassing death, drags the goddess Aqua into a fantasy world with him, and lands in a party with explosion-obsessed Megumin and masochistic crusader Darkness. Studio Deen animated the first two seasons in 2016 and 2017, J.C. Staff produced the 2019 film, and Studio Drive handled the 2023 spinoff and the 11-episode third season in 2024.
Release order is the viewing order. Legend of Crimson adapts light novel volume 5 and sits between seasons 2 and 3, so treat the film as required viewing rather than a side story. The Megumin prequel and all three OVA bonuses are optional and land best after the main run.
Good to know
Season 3 ends around light novel volume 7; the novels completed at 17 volumes in 2020, so readers continue from volume 8. Season 4 was officially announced on January 13, 2026 during the 10th anniversary event and dated for 2027 at the July 26, 2026 event, with Studio ENGI taking over animation. No month has been confirmed.
The two 2025 Bonus Stage episodes are titled Red Stream Explosion! and Beware of Fakes!. This list covers animation only, so live events and stage productions are excluded.
