About Patlabor
Patlabor follows Tokyo's mech police unit SV2 across OVAs, a TV series and three films. The early OVAs (1988) and the films lean realistic while the 47-episode TV run (1989) plays lighter.
Release order works throughout. The second film is the high point and assumes the earlier entries.
