About Shaman King
Yoh Asakura enters the Shaman Fight, a tournament held once every 500 years to crown the Shaman King. The 2021 Bridge series runs 52 episodes from April 2021 to April 2022 and adapts Hiroyuki Takei's complete manga, true ending included, which makes it the recommended starting point. The 2001 Xebec series runs 64 episodes and tracks the manga early on, then splits into an anime-original second half with its own ending because the manga was still unfinished.
Shaman King: Flowers ran 13 episodes from January to April 2024 and follows Yoh's son Hana in a new Flower of Maize tournament. The Super Star manga closed in November 2024, and a final Yard arc was announced with no launch date yet.
Good to know
The 2021 series compresses some battles to about one episode each, so the 2001 version still has fans for its slower buildup. The Yard arc follows the late 2024 announcement; treat it as pending until dated.
