About Avatar: The Last Airbender
Avatar: The Last Airbender follows Aang, the last surviving Airbender, as he masters the four elements to stop the Fire Nation. The Legend of Korra is a direct sequel series set decades later, starring the next Avatar after Aang. Avatar Studios later produced an animated film that is a sequel to the original series and a prequel to Korra, which is exactly the kind of case where release order and chronological order genuinely point in different directions.
