Downtown was created by Chris Prynoski for MTV Animation. It follows Alex, his sister Chaka and their friends in the East Village of New York City, with stories built from street interviews. The 13 episode season aired Tuesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET from August 3 to November 8, 1999.
