About Mario animated series
DIC produced three Mario cartoons between 1989 and 1991, starting with the syndicated Super Show and continuing on NBC with Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. Each series is a standalone continuity with the same core cast of Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool and Toad facing King Koopa.
