Ren the chihuahua and Stimpy the cat ran five seasons and 52 episodes on Nickelodeon from August 1991 to December 1995, with the last episode surfacing on MTV in October 1996.
The adult revival Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon aired three episodes on Spike TV in 2003, so watch it last and apart from the original.
Good to know
Comedy Central ordered a reboot without creator John Kricfalusi in 2020, but animator Bob Camp said in January 2026 that Paramount shelved it, so it stays off the list. The 2003 revival is a separate adult continuity and plays best as an optional extra.
