About Underdog
Underdog ran for 62 episodes on NBC and CBS from 1964 to 1967, with the humble Shoeshine Boy speaking in rhyme as he rescued Sweet Polly Purebred from Simon Bar Sinister and Riff Raff. Disney's live-action film followed in 2007, and a CG reboot titled Underdog and the Canine Defenders premiered on Gulli in November 2025.
