About Advance Wars
Advance Wars is Nintendo's turn based tactics series, paired here with the real time Battalion Wars spin-offs and the bleak Days of Ruin. Release order is the recommended play order, since each sub-series tells its own story and the mechanics build from game to game.
Good to know
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp launched April 21, 2023 after a delay from 2022, and Days of Ruin never released at retail in Japan. Battalion Wars began life as Advance Wars: Under Fire before Nintendo gave it its own name.
