About Guilty Gear
This Guilty Gear play order follows the main story from the 1998 original through X, X2, Overture, Xrd and Strive in release order. Spinoffs like Isuka and Dust Strikers sit outside the main story, so they are marked separately and can be skipped.
Good to know
Arc System Works has not announced a new Guilty Gear game beyond Strive, and recent updates have been balance patches and DLC fighters. Start with Strive if you only want the modern entry point, since older sprites and systems feel very different.
