- 3 Resistance 2 The Chimera cross over and threaten North America.
- 4 Resistance: Burning Skies A separate east-coast story running alongside Resistance 2.
1957: the last stand

About Resistance
Resistance is Insomniac's alternate-history shooter series about humanity's losing war against the Chimera in the 1950s.
The lists below cover the PS3 trilogy and both handheld spinoffs in release order and in story order.
Good to know
Retribution came out after Resistance 2 but is set right after the first game, and Burning Skies runs alongside Resistance 2 during the 1953 invasion, which is why the story list shuffles them. Insomniac pitched a Resistance 4 but Sony turned it down, a rejection Ted Price confirmed in February 2025, so Resistance 3 remains the ending.
