About Suikoden
Suikoden is Konami's series of RPGs about rebellion, politics and recruiting all 108 Stars of Destiny. Release order is the play order, since the prequels assume you already know the original two games, and newcomers should start with Suikoden I or the 2025 HD remaster.
Good to know
In story order the chain runs Suikoden IV, Tactics, V, Star Leap, I, II, then III, while Tierkreis and the Woven Web of a Century sit in separate worlds. Suikoden: The Anime, which adapts Suikoden II, premieres in Japan on October 3, 2026, and a Star Leap manga follows on November 5, 2026.
