About Syberia
Syberia follows lawyer Kate Walker from a routine factory buyout in the French Alps to a search for living mammoths. The late Benoit Sokal created the clockpunk world of automatons; Microids published the later entries.
This play order follows release order, which matches story order. The 2025 Remastered retells the first game with modern visuals, so use it as a substitute for item 1. New players should start with Syberia, original or remaster.
Good to know
Sokal died in May 2021; The World Before (March 2022) was his final game. Microids said in 2022 that no Syberia 5 was in its official plans, though Sokal left sequel materials. Syberia: Remastered launched November 6, 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, with Quest 3 a week later.
