About Wonder Boy
Wonder Boy is Westone's platform and action RPG series, known in Japan as Monster World, that blends arcade platforming with exploration and shop upgrades. Release order is the recommended play order, running from the 1986 arcade original through Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World (2021).
Good to know
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (2018) is an official spiritual successor made with the series creator's team, and Hudson's Adventure Island games are a separate franchise not listed here. No new series entry has been announced.
