Airport follows star-studded flights through bombs, blizzards and hijackings. The 1970 original ends at Lincoln Airport, Airport 1975 lands the 747 blind, Airport 77 sinks it in the Bermuda Triangle, and The Concorde (1979) finishes the run supersonic.
Release order is the tour. Airplane! (1980) spoofs this exact series and is the natural follow-up.
