About Anaconda
Anaconda follows giant snakes eating film crews, tourists and mercenaries. The 1997 original traps a documentary crew with hunter Paul Serone. Blood Orchid (2004) moves to Borneo, the TV sequels Offspring (2008) and Trail of Blood (2009) continue the lab-snake thread, and Lake Placid vs Anaconda (2015) crosses over with the crocodile series. The 2025 meta reboot follows friends remaking the original.
Release order is story order for the loose continuity, and the 2025 film stands alone.
Good to know
The Chinese remake (2024) retells the original and is optional. The Lake Placid crossover assumes both series.
