About Bad Boys
Michael Bay's Bad Boys (1995) paired Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. Bay returned for Bad Boys II (2003). After a 17-year gap, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah directed Bad Boys for Life (2020), which grossed about $426 million, and Bad Boys: Ride or Die (June 7, 2024), which grossed about $405 million.
Release order is story order, so one list covers the series. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer said in June 2024 that a fifth film was under discussion, and Lawrence said in 2025 that Sony was developing something, but Sony has greenlit nothing and set no date as of September 2026.
