About I Know What You Did Last Summer
The series follows friends covering up a fatal hit-and-run before the hook-wielding Fisherman hunts them. The 1997 original ends at the boat, Still Know (1998) continues to the Bahamas, Always Know (2006) reboots direct-to-video, and the 2025 legacy sequel (July 18, 2025) brings back Hewitt and Prinze Jr. with a new Southport group.
Release order is story order for the connected films. The 2021 Prime series is a separate continuity.
Good to know
The 2006 film ignores the earlier sequels. The legacy sequel follows the first two films.
