About Look Who's Talking
Amy Heckerling's 1989 comedy about single mom Mollie and cab driver James turned talking babies into a box-office formula across three films.
The Ubriacco family story runs straight through in release order, with the ABC sitcom Baby Talk riffing on the premise between sequels.
Good to know
Only Travolta, Kirstie Alley and Olympia Dukakis appear in all three films, and the third swaps the babies' inner voices for two scene-stealing dogs. Creator Amy Heckerling said in December 2024 she is writing a new script in the series with her daughter, but nothing has been greenlit.
