Ouija follows friends contacting spirits through a board with fatal rules. The 2014 original ends at the Morris house. Origin of Evil (2016) is a 1967 prequel about the Zander family séance that created the haunting.
Release order works, but the prequel is the better film. Either order lands the same ending since the prequel explains the original.
