About The Ring

The American Ring branch follows Rachel Keller from Gore Verbinski's The Ring (2002) through Hideo Nakata's The Ring Two (2005) to Rings (2017) with a new young cast.

A 17 minute short titled Rings (2005) bridges the first two films, and all three features keep the seven day cursed tape rule.

Good to know

Rings (2005) premiered on DVD on March 8, 2005, ten days before The Ring Two opened on March 18, 2005. No new American Ring film has a date, and the Japanese Ringu films sit in a separate continuity.
