About Arrowverse
The Arrowverse began with Arrow (eight seasons, 2012 to 2020) and grew into six connected CW shows: The Flash (nine seasons, 2014 to 2023), Supergirl (six, 2015 to 2021), Legends of Tomorrow (seven, 2016 to 2022), Black Lightning (four, 2018 to 2021) and Batwoman (three, 2019 to 2022). Superman and Lois (four seasons, 2021 to 2024) spun out of Supergirl's cast but was confirmed as a separate universe in its season 2 finale.
Start with the release order below, one show at a time. The yearly crossovers reward that path in this sequence: Flash vs. Arrow (2014), Heroes Join Forces (2015), Invasion! (2016), Crisis on Earth-X (2017), Elseworlds (2018) and Crisis on Infinite Earths (2019 to 2020).
Good to know
The shared universe ended with The Flash finale on May 24, 2023. The animated web series Vixen and Freedom Fighters: The Ray plus Constantine guest appearances are left out to keep the list readable; completists can slot Vixen after The Flash season 2 and The Ray before Crisis on Earth-X. Crisis on Infinite Earths merged Black Lightning's Earth with Earth-1 and Earth-38 into Earth-Prime.
