The 4400 opened on USA Network on July 11, 2004: 4,400 people abducted across decades return in one ball of light with new abilities. The original run lasted four seasons, ending September 16, 2007 on an unresolved cliffhanger about the promicin drug spreading powers to the public.
The CW reboot, titled 4400, retells the premise with new characters in a new continuity. It ran 13 episodes from October 2021 to February 2022 and was cancelled in May 2022 after that single season. Watch the original first, then treat the reboot as its own story.
