About The Pretender
The Pretender aired four seasons and 86 episodes on NBC from September 1996 to May 2000, following genius Jarod as he escapes the Centre and takes on a new identity each week while Miss Parker hunts him. TNT continued the story with two TV films in 2001, The Pretender 2001 and Island of the Haunted.
Good to know
Both TNT films end on unresolved cliffhangers and no further film was ordered, so the story still has no screen ending. The creators continued it in the novels Rebirth (2013) and Saving Luke (2014), which sit outside this list.
