About FLCL
FLCL follows the alien Haruko Haruhara as she crashes into ordinary lives on Earth while hunting the space being Atomsk and clashing with the company Medical Mechanica.
The original 6 episode OVA ran from 2000 to 2001, followed by Progressive and Alternative in 2018 and Grunge and Shoegaze in 2023.
Good to know
Alternative was designed as a prequel and Grunge sits between Shoegaze and the original, but each season stands alone with Haruko as the link. Adult Swim said in October 2023 that it has no plans for further seasons.
