Salaryman Kazuo Yamashita manages fighter Ohma Tokita in the Kengan matches, where companies settle disputes through bare-knuckle bouts that feed into the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. Larx Entertainment animated the series as a Netflix ONA with Seiji Kishi directing and Yasuharu Takanashi composing.
Netflix splits the 52 episodes into four drops: Part 1 with 12 episodes on July 31, 2019, Part 2 with 12 on October 31, 2019, Season 2 Part 1 with 12 on September 21, 2023 and Season 2 Part 2 with 16 on August 15, 2024. The 65-minute crossover film Baki Hanma vs Kengan Ashura premiered June 6, 2024 and sits outside both canons.
Good to know
Numbering varies by source. Parts 1 and 2 form Season 1; the 2023 and 2024 drops form Season 2. Some listings call the 2024 drop Part 4. The Kengan Omega sequel manga, set two years later and past 34 volumes as of September 2026, has no anime version yet, so the Purgatory tournament arc remains manga-only. No Omega anime had been announced as of September 17, 2026.
