Devil May Cry has two animated continuities: Madhouse produced a 12 episode anime in 2007, and Studio Mir launched a separate Netflix series in 2025. The games have their own play order post, so this guide covers animation only.

Netflix renewed its series for a third and final season on June 4, 2026, with no release date announced yet. Showrunner Adi Shankar frames the three Netflix seasons as a trilogy: Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso.
