About Ape Escape
This Ape Escape play order follows Spike, Jimmy and the gang across the main trilogy plus the PSP remake, so release order and story order are the same thing.
Spin-offs like Million Monkeys and Ape Quest stand alone, so play them after the main games in any order you like.
Good to know
Several entries stayed in Japan, including Pipo Saru 2001, Million Monkeys and the SaruSaru Big Mission PSP game, so imports or fan translations are the only way to play them. Sony has announced nothing new since PlayStation Move Ape Escape, and the series sits dormant.
