About Front Mission
Front Mission is Square Enix's long running tactical RPG series about rival superpowers fighting with giant mechs called wanzers. This play order uses release order as the recommended path, since the games tell standalone stories inside one shared timeline, with a chronological option below for second runs.

The 1st Remake launched November 30, 2022, the 2 Remake on October 5, 2023, and the 3 Remake on June 26, 2025 for Switch with other platforms following on January 30, 2026, so each item below covers its original game plus its remake. Front Mission: Online shut down on May 31, 2008 and is no longer playable.
