About inFAMOUS
inFAMOUS is Sucker Punch's open-world superhero series about conduits, people whose powers wake after a city-wide blast. Cole MacGrath bends electricity across Empire City and New Marais, while Delsin Rowe steals smoke, neon and concrete across Seattle. A karma system tracks every cruel or kind choice.
This play order follows release order. New players should start with inFAMOUS (2009), since the Cole games set up everything Second Son pays off years later.
Good to know
First Light (August 2014) is a standalone Fetch prequel set about two years before Second Son (March 2014), but release order keeps Delsin's reveals intact. Festival of Blood (October 2011) is a non-canon vampire night with Cole and is fully optional. Second Son follows Cole's good ending. The Paper Trail tie-in for Second Son is offline and unavailable. Sucker Punch has moved to the Ghost games and no new inFAMOUS has been announced.
