About Airwolf
Airwolf aired on CBS for three seasons from January 1984 to March 1986, with Jan-Michael Vincent as Stringfellow Hawke and Ernest Borgnine as Dominic Santini flying missions for the Firm. The USA Network funded a fourth season in 1987 with a new cast and a smaller budget, filmed in Canada with recycled flight footage.
Good to know
Season 4 writes out the original cast and replaces Stringfellow with his brother St. John, played by Barry Van Dyke, so many fans stop after season 3. The pilot aired January 22, 1984 as the lead-out from Super Bowl XVIII.
