About Transformers
The Transformers films split into two continuities. The Bay era (2007 to 2017, five films) follows Sam Witwicky and then Cade Yeager against Megatron and Sentinel Prime. Bumblebee (2018) and Rise of the Beasts (2023) reboot the timeline in the 1980s and 1990s. Transformers One (2024) is an animated prequel about young Optimus and Megatron on Cybertron.
Release order works for the whole shelf. A live action G.I. Joe crossover film is in development with no date.
